Monday: Draw an illustration of each of the four Gospels (cf. p. 15) and write an explanation for each illustration of why you illustrated it the way you did.
Tuesday: Handout on Synoptic Problem (Q). Read John 1-11 and write a sentence summary of each chapter.
Thursday: Read John 12-21 and write a sentence summary of each chapter. Read pp. 23-33. Take notes.
Friday: Answer pp. 34-36 #1, 3, 4, 5. Quiz tomorrow over background information (PowerPoint) & chapters 1-2

Choose five lines that are difficult to understand; look up unknown vocab for these words and write the line, the vocab definition, and a paraphrase of the line (make sure to look at the whole sentence in order to understand what’s being said in the line). p. 672 #1, 3, 8
