Gospel of John homework:

Tuesday:  Answer pp. 34-36 #1, 3, 4, 5. Quiz tomorrow over background information (PowerPoint) & chapters 1-2

Thursday:   Read pp. 37-42. Answer #1-5 in at least 2-3 sentences per question.

Friday:  From Life Change Series (photocopy): Read pp. 22-27 and answer #3-8; web diagrams for “world” and “grace and truth”

World Literature homework:

Tuesday:   Read Genesis 6:11-9:17. List all of the people, places and things in this story. Bring Bibles to class tomorrow. Study for quiz over class procedures tomorrow.

Wednesday:   Paragraph: What do you think about when you look at the ocean? Use imagery to describe the ocean, then tell about your response to it. Draw a picture for “Bible as Literature.” Worksheet 2 over "The Sun" and Psalm 19

American Literature homework:

Tuesday:  Read "Images." Vocabulary worksheet.

Wednesday:   Reread “Images”; write a brief summary of each section (1/3 length)

Thursday:   writing assignment (write a page describing in detail how something in nature expresses a spiritual truth); due Monday.

Friday:   Grammar exercises: wkbk p. 5A (pronouns), 11B (adj/adv), 14A (prep/OP). Bring G.U.M. and LN Monday.

British Literature homework:

Tuesday:   SILL survey. Bring LN & Literature tomorrow.

Wednesday:   Vocabulary work:  make a picture or gesture for each vocabulary word (Beowulf).  Read LN pp. 130-132 and do p. 132 all.  Bring LN and Literature tomorrow.

Thursday:   Finish academic vocabulary worksheets. Bring Lit. and GUM tomorrow.

Friday:   GUM: Subject-Verb Agreement in Person and Number, pp. 97-99. Bring Lit. and GUM Monday.
