American Literature: We will be spending this week and next week finishing our unit on The Testament by John Grisham.
Homework:
Tuesday: Write an analysis of Rachel Lane as a character; use at least two sandwich quotes. Read ch. 29-32.
Wednesday: Read ch. 33-36
Friday: Finish written response (What difference is there between accepting forgiveness and becoming a follower? What reasons do you think Nate has for wanting to talk to Rachel at the end of Chap. 37?). Read ch. 38-39. Study for vocab quiz. Bring LN to class Friday.
World Literature: We are continuing our novel unit on Cry, the Beloved Country until the end of the school year. There will be a test over the first half of the novel at the beginning of next week.

Monday: worksheets (x2); read ch. 8-9; vocab quiz tomorrow
Tuesday: read ch. 10-11. ½ page summary of chapters 1-11
Wednesday: Read ch. 12-13. Worksheet. Bring LN & grammar wkbk to class tomorrow
Thursday: G.U.M. 170-171. Read ch. 14-15
Friday: Read chapters 16-18. Write a page summary of the book so far. Study for test Monday.
World History: This week, we will finish our unit on WWI; next week we will begin studying the years between the wars and WWII.

Tuesday: test; no homework
Wednesday-Thursday: Find and explain answers to missed questions from previous unit test.
Friday: retest over chapters 23-24.
Gospel of John: This week we will continue to study Jesus' last words to his disciples and begin reading about his arrest and trials.
